How to layer your media

  1. Method 1

    Lava rock only

Use enough lava rock to cover the entire burner. Do not over-fill; just enough to hide the burner from view.

  2. Method 2

    Lava rock under glass

Fill the pan with lava rock until it is level with the top of the burner, then lay your glass on top of the lava rock and burner. Add just enough glass to cover the burner.

  3. Method 3

    Lava rock under stones

Fill the pan with lava rock until it is level with the top of the burner, then lay your lava stones on top of the lava rock and burner. Add enough stones to cover the burner.
